Ian has been designing, building and maintaining websites for clients for nearly 20 years. Learning the art when it was in its infancy, developing web pages hand-coded in Notepad, has given Ian an ability to troubleshoot issues with websites that would pass less experienced designers by.

Ian is aware that many websites that are currently online are put together via various "drag-and-drop" platforms such as Wordpress and Joomla. Some problems with platforms such as this can include;

• They restrict what you can actually do
• You have to choose from a selection of templates, so you are not unique
• You cannot edit at code-level and get exactly what you want

Ian uses Adobe's Creative Suite products when building websites and associated content, including;

• Dreamweaver (for websites)
• Premiere & After Effects (for video)
• Photoshop (for images)

These products are industry standard and widely used by professionals.

Ian is also extremely well versed in ensuring sites are mobile-friendly and that they are fully compliant with all the additional requirements and expectations that organisations such as Google have in today's online environment.
